The Season Spine — Chapters 1–140

Tap a season to open its arcs. Entry markers show exactly where each principal steps onto the page. Only S1 and S4 carry season subtitles; S2–S3 are titled by their arcs.

Season OneA Name in the Hidden WorldCh. 1–35 · Arcs I–V
Four Coalition nobodies (Cell 9) try to pay rent and stay out of trouble — and become famous by accident, one impossible rumor at a time, until the finale hands them the name the franchise is titled after. Base: Apartment 304, blocks from Riven's grandparents' antiquities shop.
Arc I — Cell 9Ch. 1–6

Onboarding, courier runs, the first Crossroads visit. No rumor yet — that's the point.

Enter: Riven, Arelion, Scribs, Vaughn — founding Cell 9 (day one). Nia seeded (insignia Ch.1, crate Ch.3); Sanaa seeded as the rumor "Gravesong" (Ch.4).
Arc II — The Toll RoadCh. 7–13

Scribs spotlight: navigation-as-combat in a shifting corridor. Rumor born — "a navigator who doesn't lose people."

Enter (paper): Amelia — the specialist's field-reports begin arriving to Arelion (rework note: formerly Lyra's "L. Valequill" seam-reports).
Arc III — The Kennel JobCh. 14–20

Vaughn spotlight: a retrieval that's a trafficking front — his own past, franchised. Rumor — "a ghost who opens cages."

Enter: Sanaa — first in-person appearance, mid-arc, post-incident.
Arc IV — The Quiet DischargeCh. 21–27

Arelion spotlight: a failing relic in a crowded market — "the Green Dawn in miniature." Rumor — "a green storm that doesn't destroy." The lone elite touch: Clash One — the Sun-Serpent Test (Ixtli, masked, unconnectable to the Jackals).

Enter: Nia goes mission-active. Asha appears as dream-omen only.
Arc V — The Class SevenCh. 28–35

The finale storm — seen, survived, not fought. Five feats build one evacuation machine; Riven's single blue flare buys the worst 90 seconds. The name lands: "They held the twilight open. The Twilight Order."

Enter: Gingey officially joins (the spare-bunk offer, Ch.35). Epilogue doorways: Amelia and Asha arrive in person. Stingers tease Yahia; the ice fracture reaches the coast.
Season TwoThe Pack CompletesCh. 36–70 · Arcs VI–IX
Season One was the household; Season Two is the pack. The full roster assembles and turns frictional as two mythologized heirs — frost and blood — arrive, a season-long tracking mystery closes on the team, and the first Infernal House agents reach Earth.
Arc VI — Full HouseCh. 36–43

Yahia, Asha and Amelia go active as rival / judge / specialist. First Deep-Veil brush. Ixtli's sabotage phase and the betrayal reveal: "You were never lost… you were placed."

Enter: Yahia (premiere), Asha & Amelia fully active, Ixtli planted. Kaisel's outside "Watcher" view begins.
Arc VII — The Ritual That RememberedCh. 44–52

The Jackal build detonates: the Reliquaries bite, the beasts flood, Seth & Anubis, the Mantle's fragments — "Found you." The gnats reveal their god.

Turn: Ixtli flips to double agent — "No. I am remembering." First Long-Chase ghost (the parents' resonance recorded, dismissed).
Arc VIII — The Sea That Remembered Its NameCh. 53–62

The Frozen Sea is a sleeping Fallen God; the Frost-Reaper line are its lullaby-keepers; the Infernal Pantheon drills to bleed it awake. Yahia's thesis beat: asking the crew for help (Ch.60). Gingey's mask cracks (Ch.58). Lore-lock: Class Sevens are dream-traffic between gods.

Arc IX — The Watcher and the AshCh. 63–70

The Infernal House's first open Earth op; the finale engagement goes wrong. Season closes on a Covenant lodge burned from inside, a bootprint pointed at Earth.

Enter: Kaisel fully introduced — "I came to see what kind of king leaks" — attaches as the Blood Courts' observer (Ch.66–68).
Season ThreeThe Deep Veil & the Long ChaseCh. 71–105 · Arcs X–XIII
With the full eleven assembled, the crew works Deep-Veil and buried-history mysteries while the Long Chase tightens — Riven's blood becomes known to everything that listens — and the season ends with the family reunion detonated as a cliffhanger.
Arc X — The Buried Crown Beneath the Breathing GodCh. 71–79

Vashkarath: a mountain-city inside a sleeping god's ribcage, ruled 40 years by a crown that isn't the king's. Introduce Sef, the true heir who refuses. Kaisel's first full mission; resolves as negotiated wardenship.

Enter: Elara Ashveil — "The Retrieval That Became a Conversation" (Ch. 71–72).
Arc XI — The Gallery of Corrected KingsCh. 80–88

A heist inside Aurel's museum-of-people to prove two centuries of bloodline theft. Introduce Tenoch, the willing prisoner (the first child Ixtli ever confirmed). Asha invokes the Law of Witness; eleven leave. Aurel's answer: the crew catalogued as acquisitions, pending. The eclipse commissioning-mark is shown.

Arc XII — The City That Kept HimCh. 89–96

Vaughn's origin pays off — the fog that took him is a nation (the Grey Meridian), and the Veil interior is being compressed. Chainwright confrontation; treaty-contact; he walks visibly through 304's door for the first time. First in-world warning: the parents "will arrive before the next season turns."

Arc XIII — The Choir Under the FloorCh. 97–105

The buried-disaster network (the Voss cluster) was placing calls to an entity beneath reality's floor using murdered voices; Bellgrave was the loudest. Sanaa's Gravesong Requiem answers the counter-call; reveal — she was appointed, not spared. Ch. 105 finale: a knock at 304 — the parents home. "The Long Chase is over. The war for the doorstep begins."

Season FourWhat Glory Leaves BehindCh. 106–140 · Arcs XIV–XVIII
The aftermath season — the people who come after the crew's loud last-second victories. The Veyr sisters (moon-ward "buriers") integrate as a chartered Guild lineage while the S3 cliffhanger detonates in slow motion: the parents are home and every faction converges. Not the war for the doorstep — the gathering of it.
Arc XIV — The Claw Against the SealCh. 106–112

The reunion; the Ritual district's badly-closed scar leaks. Twins Seraphine & Maribel arrive — "You stopped it. Closing is a different trade." Guardian-law opens (Seth/Anubis are in legal remand, not dead).

Enter: Seraphine & Maribel Veyr (Ch. 108).
Arc XV — The Road That RepeatsCh. 113–120

A haunted route loops a lost caravan hiding decommissioned Moon-Ward burial ledgers. The Sanaa–Veyr haunting unit is founded; wolves Morrigan & Eirwyn revealed. Contractors → comrades.

Arc XVI — The Lantern Comes LateCh. 121–128

Compression collapses a major Veil route; Celestine Veyr (eldest) arrives mid-catastrophe. The edited family history surfaces — the elders tasked the father; the eclipse client-mark. The crew extends protectorate status. Comrades → protected family.

Enter: Celestine Veyr (Ch. 121).
Arc XVII — The Buriers' LedgerCh. 129–134

The Moon-Ward order took burial contracts for the Jackal correction program, the Voss network and Pharaoh-war sentries. Pantheon exhumers crack seals for fuel, waking sentries that all turn toward Riven. Ch. 134 — the hound appeal: the oath re-spoken; Seth & Anubis re-manifest, now portable around Riven.

Arc XVIII — The Door Beneath the MoonCh. 135–140 · climax

The frozen-chapel trap; the elders' plan to re-contain the Pale Choir with Maribel as living anchor. Reveal: the Choir hungers for its oath, not blood. The Lunar Triad finale — the crew's trained load-sharing (lullaby → Requiem → Triad) keeps the sisters from drowning; the Pale Choir is re-sworn free. Ch. 140: Vesper Hollow camps at the city — "now every one of those doors is going to arrive at once. Good thing you finally have people whose whole job is doors."
